Cafe Vanilla Infused Milk Base
One of the things I enjoy most about beverage development is creating reusable components instead of rebuilding every drink from scratch.
This Vanilla Milk is one of those components. Unlike the Southeast Asian-Inspired House Milk Base, which was developed to contribute sweetness, richness, and a condensed milk-inspired profile similar to what you might find in Vietnamese coffee, this recipe has a completely different objective.
The goal here is vanilla flavor and not sweetness.
By infusing vanilla directly into the milk, you can decide how sweet (or not sweet) you want the finished beverage to be. Whether you enjoy completely unsweetened coffee, prefer monk fruit or another sugar substitute, or simply want to control sweetness independently from flavor, this milk gives you another option.
Inside the file, you'll find much more than a recipe.
I also share how I personally use this formula throughout my own beverage development, from vanilla lattes and matcha to building flavored milk bases like birthday cake or fruity cereal. I will be uploading my creamer base recipe that uses flavoring but is also a sweetened component.
If you're someone who enjoys experimenting with coffee, matcha, or café-style beverages at home, I hope this file gives you another tool to make those drinks feel a little more intentional.
