Vitality Blend Smoothie
Meet the Vitality Blend — my personal #1 favorite from over 25+ recipes in my “soon to be published” Specialty Blends eBook. This isn’t just another chocolate smoothie; it’s a functional superfood blend designed for energy, metabolism, mood, circulation, recovery, and even libido.
With a base of banana, cacao, and almond milk, this blend gets a boost from maca (a Peruvian root prized for vitality and hormone balance), warming spices like cinnamon and cayenne, and the natural sweetness of dates. Together, these ingredients create a rich, spiced chocolate smoothie that feels indulgent but is 100% nourishing — no refined sugar, no artificial ingredients. IF YOU LIKE BANANA BREAD, especially with hint of chocolate flavor, you’ll LOVE this.
This is not a milkshake. It’s a smoothie built with purpose, balancing flavor with function. And the best part? Every recipe in my Specialty Blends eBook is written this way — as a base you can enjoy as-is or customize into your own signature superfood café-style creation. If you own my frappe base recipe bundle (available in the market page) then you can add 1 Tbsp of the base powder to this smoothie! I have used the sugar free base powder on several occasions, but I do find this is naturally creamy and sweet enough on its own for me.

Variables & Customization
This recipe is written as a balanced blend of chocolate, spice, and natural sweetness — but you can experiment to make it your own:
Swap almond butter for peanut, cashew, or tahini.
Replace dates with maple syrup, honey, or agave.
Use oat milk for creamier texture, or coconut milk for tropical richness.
Skip banana and use mango or avocado for a different twist.
The Vitality Blend is just one of the 25+ recipes in my Specialty Blends eBook. Each one will be written like this:
In grams (with volume in parentheses) for precision.
With functional benefits.
With options to adapt, swap, and experiment — making every recipe a base for your own signature café-style smoothie.
This is more than a recipe collection. It’s a blueprint for creating your own blends at home or for your café menu. This seriously is my favorite. I’m obsessed.
